Verder zei Martijn Weisbeek (iemand op de OOo nl-discussie mailinglijst) 
het volgende over andere applicaties (heb ik wel niet kunnen 
controleren, maar zal wel juist zijn):

TextMaker (een nieuwe tekstverwerker voor Linux) ondersteunt het formaat
(nog) niet.

OpenIMS (http://www.openims.com/ ) zegt ook OpenOffice.org te 
ondersteunen, al wordt het me niet duidelijk of ze daarmee het 
bestandsformaat bedoelen of dat het er puur staat omdat het wel leuk klinkt.

OpenShore ondersteunt het OpenOffice.org-formaat getuige

Via Google vond ik dat icoya OpenContent het OOo-formaat ondersteunt:
